Terms of Service

Legal basis for the use of the altusalpha.com website.

1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the website altusalpha.com and all content and services provided thereunder, operated by Closelook Venture GmbH, Walter-Kollo-Str. 24, 14513 Teltow, Germany (hereinafter "Operator"). By accessing the website, you agree to these Terms.

2. Nature of the Service

altusalpha.com is a purely informational service. The Operator provides content on prediction markets, market structures, strategy methodology, infrastructure concepts, and ecosystem overview free of charge. There are no subscriptions, no paywalled areas, and no user accounts on altusalpha.com.

2.1 Not Investment Advice

The Operator expressly states that nothing published on the website constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, tax advice, or any other form of professional advice. All content serves exclusively for information, education, and documentation purposes. Users bear sole responsibility for their investment and trading decisions and should consult qualified advisors before making any financial decisions.

2.2 No Warranty of Accuracy

Although the Operator strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information, no representations or warranties are made regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of the content. The Operator is not liable for damages arising from reliance on published material.

2.3 Conflicts of Interest

The Operator and affiliated persons may hold positions in discussed securities, cryptocurrencies, or other financial instruments. This may create potential conflicts of interest but does not constitute a trading recommendation. Transparency notices are provided in the respective content where applicable.

3. Copyright and Content Use

All content on altusalpha.com — including texts, graphics, frameworks, strategy descriptions, and structural data — is protected by copyright. Use for private, non-commercial purposes is permitted. Excerpts of up to 200 words may be shared non-commercially with attribution and a link to the original source.

Full or partial reproduction, commercial redistribution, systematic extraction ("scraping" in a commercial context), or implementation into one's own products requires the prior written consent of the Operator.

3.1 AI Search Engine Access

The Operator permits recognized AI search engines and answer engines (in particular GPTBot by OpenAI, ClaudeBot by Anthropic, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Amazonbot, Applebot) to access public content for indexing and citation. Citations should attribute content to Closelook Venture GmbH with a link to the source. This permission does not cover the systematic reproduction of proprietary frameworks as the basis for a competing product.

4. Limitation of Liability

The Operator and affiliated companies exclude liability for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the website or reliance on its content, regardless of the legal basis — to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory statutory liability (in particular for intent, gross negligence, and for damages to life, body, and health) remains unaffected.

5. External Links

altusalpha.com contains links to external third-party websites. The respective operator is solely responsible for their content. The Operator of this website has no influence on the design and content of linked pages and assumes no liability for them.

6. Availability

The Operator endeavors to keep the website continuously available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance work, further development, and technical malfunctions may temporarily restrict or render access impossible.

7. Changes to These Terms

The Operator reserves the right to change these Terms at any time and without giving reasons. The current version will be published on this page. Continued use of the website after publication of changed terms constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. To the extent permitted by law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes is the registered office of the Operator (Amtsgericht Potsdam). Mandatory consumer protection provisions remain unaffected.

9. Severability

Should any provision of these Terms be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
